Yes, you heard me. Facebook is going to have a movie come out soon! The movie is going to be called “The Social Network” and Columbia Pictures has made plans to start filming in Boston Massachusetts. The Social Network will be based on Mark Zuckerberg the founder of Facebook, and how the idea of this popular social network came about. He apparently came up with the idea of Facebook while he was studying in Harvard. Rumor has it, that a part of the movie will be filmed on the actual campus. David Fincher who directed the 3 time Oscar winning “The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button,” will be directing The Social Network.

This movie is based on a book called “The Accidental Billionaires” by Ben Mezrich. This book has made the news for documenting how Facebook was created and how it developed into one of the most popular social networks on the Internet. However this book is not an authorized account of Mark Zuckerberg’s life so there are some details that remain disputed.
