It gives u the option of making a virtual pizza by choosing your crust, toppings and size so you know exactly what’s going to be delivered to your doorstep. With the simple drag drop and click you can have a piping hot pizza on the way to you.

Pizza Hut has been steadily building traffic to its website and increasing its delivery sales through social media optimization. Pizza Hut currently has 1,040,825 fans on Facebook and 21,515 followers on Twitter. They have been able to successfully reach out to their consumers by asking them their favorite toppings, asking them what they like about their food, etc.  Pizza Hut is also steadily generating traffic for their website through video optimization. They have their own channel on YouTube and some of their videos have generated up to almost 800 views. Pizza hut is a good example to follow when it comes to utilizing social networks to help your business.

Pizza Hut’s competitor is Domino’s Pizza which is also working extensively to attract consumers through social media optimization. Domino’s Pizza has also made its presence known through social networks such as Twitter and Facebook. Apparently Domino’s also has an iPhone application but it is not as advanced as the one that Pizza Hut has come out with. It will be interesting to see in the coming months which pizza restaurant will be the most popular through the use of social media optimization strategies. I personally am a fanatic of pizza in general and would die for Pizza Hut any day. But that’s just my tummy talking.
