The past couple of months, people have been debating whether Bing is a better search engine or if Google? With both search engines constantly updating and adding new features, it is a difficult decision for an Internet marketer to come up with an ultimatum. If you’re conflicted over which search engine provides you the best results, you don’t have to choose anymore. Bingle is a new resource you can use with both results on the same window.  This resource allows you to make a direct side-by side comparison of search results on Google and Bing. That’s why it’s called Bingle: Bing + Google.

This resource was created by Joshua Buss so Offshore SEO companies and internet marketers could successfully track their marketing campaigns on both search engines at the same time. He came up with this concept when he realized his liking for Google would not allow him to completely let go to try out another search engine. He realized only by having both search engines side by side, could he be open enough to explore Bing and its features. The idea of having both search engine results visible at the same time is beneficial because Google and Bing perform well in different categories of searching. Bingle has proven to be a security blanket for thousands of users just like Joshua who are unwilling to let go of Google when it comes to online search.

Bing has been receiving a lot of positive reviews for its image and video search results. Bing has impressive features such as being able to view a small preview of a video within the search results by just hovering on the thumbnail. It definitely takes away the time consuming pain of waiting for the page to load in order to check if that’s the video you’re looking for!  Many feel Bing has rightfully deserved the praise for image and video search results over Google. However Google has maintained its speed performance for bringing up the fastest search results on the Internet. Bing still needs to figure out a way to bring up their results much faster. It takes more time for websites to get indexed on Bing. Even though Bing takes more time to crawl websites, Offshore SEO companies are still keeping an eye out for the new search engine. A statistic recently revealed that users are clicking on ads within natural search results 55% more often on Bing than Google.

Bingle went live back in June, just hours after search engine Bing was revealed to the world. Other websites and Offshore SEO companies have tried to jump on the Bingle band wagon by creating their own websites which allow users to search for results on both Google and Bing at the same time. But just like owning a knock off Gucci bag, it just isn’t the same! It seems that no definite outcome can be predicted in the near future for the best search engine, so for now why not enjoy using them both.

Take a look at the title tags of your website. From an SEO perspective, Bing is more focused on the title tags of your website than Google.  Each page of your website should have unique title and meta descriptions and should include the important keywords that you are trying to rank for. Bing also gives more emphasis to back links, displaying as many as possible as long as they appear on related websites. Make sure all of the pages on your website have at least 300 words or more. The content on your website should be informative and up to date. Bing is giving more importance and indexing pages with these criterias. Try and add fresh information to your website on a regular basis. If you have an old domain you’re in luck as Bing is granting priority to websites with an older domain. Offshore SEO companies usually advise newb company websites to buy older domains in order to get ahead in the rat race!

Bing has also decided to include famous tweets by Twitter members as a part of their search results so you may want to reconstruct your social media optimization campaign too while you’re at it. If you are interested in going through a more in depth case study of the Bing search engine you can visit the Microsoft Download Center website where you can download “Bing: New Features Relevant to Webmasters.” This document reveals the features of Bing, what aspect they have incorporated into the new search engine and how to optimize your website effectively in order to rank highly on Bing. The changes you make on your website will take some time to create an impact on the search results for Bing. You can obtain the help of an Offshore SEO company so that your website will gain credibility through Bing and other popular search engines on the Internet. If you have a new website you can also optimize your website by submitting your URL to Bing and registering on Bing Webmaster Central.

Google is getting ready to come out with a new search engine called Google Caffeine. Google has plans to unveil it soon, in competition with MSN’s new search engine Bing. The sneak preview version of Google Caffeine is out and I had the chance to test it out and compare it with the old Google search engine and MSN Live’s Bing. I wanted to compare them to analyze how different Google Caffeine is as a search engine compared to the ones that are already out there. Below are some results of the testing I did to find out how the old Google search engine and the new Google Caffeine search engine are in comparison.

The new Google Caffeine provides search results more than twice as fast as the current Google search engine. The speed of providing search results is just phenomenal! When I searched the term “Offshore SEO” in Google Caffeine I got my results in 0.16 seconds as compared to regular Google which provided me my results in 0.47 seconds. However, if you include any special characters like quotes in your search results Google Caffeine is slightly faster than the regular Google search engine. Even when I used quotes, I searched the term “social bookmarking” in both search engines, and it gave me the Google Caffeine results 0.10 seconds faster than the regular Google search engine. The only difference was that the new Google Caffeine didn’t always bring up as many image results.

But I’m guessing that could be because they’re still fine tuning the search engine and it’s still in its development stages. When it came to the amount of search results brought up for each keyword searched, the new Google search engine ranked higher by far. When I searched for the term seo in both search engines, Google Caffeine came up with 247,000,000 results whereas regular Google came up with a mere 195,000,000 results. Maybe the speed of MSN Live’s Bing triumphed over Google momentarily but Google is now in the process of reclaiming their title as the best search engine on the Internet. Google’s trick to staying on top is like how Madonna stays on top of the music world. They just never stop reinventing themselves.

They’re not happy with just fast, they want to be the fastest! Because they’ve maintained their high search standards Google Search is used for approximately 77% of all searches in the US. Google also has created specific search engines for popular searches such as Froogle, Google News, Google Maps, Google Videos, Google Blogs, Google Scholar, Google Images, etc. This makes it easier to narrow down the search results and increase relevancy.  There is no doubt that the new Google Caffeine will be fast and bring you a monster truck full of results! If you would like to test out the new Google Caffeine search engine yourself, give it a go right here at this link: http://www2.sandbox.google.com/ Tell me what you think about the different search engines on the Internet today and how they perform.
