Apparently women on Facebook in order to show their support and raise awareness for breast cancer, updated their Facebook status with the color of their bras. Some may assume that it doesn’t do much for the cause but it actually does get the word out effectively. This began as a chain letter which was sent to a number of female Facebook users. The chain letter encouraged them to change the status of their Facebook to the color of their bra they were currently wearing and forward the chain letter only to the friends on Facebook who were women. The idea was to confuse the men about why all their female friends on Facebook had only colors as their status. It’s pretty innovative if you ask me.
