Before signing up a new customer, we normally speak with them over the phone. While E-mail is great for sending out formal proposals, or SEO contracts, we find the phone way more effective. This tied in with a video conference or sharing screen works even better. While we understand that we are in a different location of the globe from our clients, we have invested a fair amount in infrastructure to enable us to communicate with them at virtually no cost.
Apart from Skype, we use Teamviewer and other online tools to run our clients through any tutorials or to explain a monthly report.
We like to say ‘Hi’ to our customers atleast once in 2 weeks, so that we know all is well or if there are any issues that need to be addressed on an urgent basis.
Our Local American number isĀ (415) 670-9340. We are on an average of 12 hours ahead of the US & Canada. Our clients in the UK have a fair amount of lapping time.
We also often receive messeges on our Blackberry saying that our client has just received a new enquiry. We always look forward to these!
